anw this is my first time EVER blogging so im actually quite clueless. haha
oh promos-wise i guess i did alright.

well i've got to thank God for sustaining me through this week. its been really tiring with PW and all that i fell sick again. but thankfully i recovered in a day!

thanksgiving and prayer requests
today SRJCians got back all their promo scripts for checking.
XiYing, Fiona, Andrew and me.
XiYing did pretty fine, one of the few in her class that can promote. but she is upset because, she is seeing a lot of her classmates either retaining or leaving to poly. lets pray for her!
heard from XiYing that Fiona did well too. she got an A for economics!
for me, my results arent fantastic, but I'm really thankful! :) base solely on my promo results, I can be promoted! which was something that I was worrying over. however, getting boarder line results set me thinking if I should stay on for JC or leaving for something that might be better for me. please pray that God will direct me into making wise decision.
as for Andrew, he isnt emo over his results, instead he is very happy that he got B for GP and did well for his other H1s. although he got 31 points, which falls below the promotion criteria, he is still optimistic for moderation to pull him up. lets pray that moderation will do him good!
For the others who're getting their results soon, lets pray that peace will be with them when they receive their results and they'll give thanks for whatever results they receieve.
Romans 5:1 "Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God our Lord Jesus Christ."
Not forgetting Joshua, Iris and Clarissa who're taking their O'levels in a few days time. they shouldnt be reading this but I hope others will and keep them in prayer. lets pray that they'll go through the exams togther with the strength of God.
Philippians 4:13 "I can do anything through Him who gives me strength."
I have prayer request too, something that I had been praying hard over. that is the Perth trip. thank God my teacher finally allows me to go to Perth with the condition of someone replacing me. I got my classmate and he said he doesnt mind going. but after that he realised he has a course on for that period.
thank God again that I met another friend that is interested in going, but he is going on a holiday and will be back on 27/28nov. the school trip is from 29nov. its too rush.
all this got me thinking, maybe Perth isnt somewhere God wants me to go. I'll miss the Youth Camp is I go to Perth. it may be such a valuable chance and experience for me, it is also a new venture for me in playing netball. but one thing after another showed themselves as obstacles.
please pray that once again, God will direct me to his calling.
the week of school may be so draining but lets look forward to saturday as a motivation! each day that past also means that we're one day closer to saturday :)
*OH! and praise the Lord! the attendance for YA was 232 last saturday! :D

wow!! cool, its my turn to blog now. first time bloggin in beautiful feet blog. super excited!!! haha. wad shd i say?? hmmm, firstly thank God tat we r stil alive. secondly, thank God for tis blog. thirdly, thank God tat i rmb to post. LASTLY, thank God tat its my turn to post (which means dunno how long dun nid to post liao) . =)
lion dance practise startin soon. the coach from Li Heng pulled me in to their lion and dragon dance troupe. thank God =) . Li Heng is internationally known and won a few champions internationally in a row. We hv to practise for chinese new yr so we could be able to perform at tat time (meaning got ang bao money) !!!
class starting soon, hv to go. thank God tat class is startin. See You guys!!!!!

1 timothy 6:3-17
3If anyone advocates a different doctrine and does not agree with sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine conforming to godliness,
4he is conceited and understands nothing; but he has a morbid interest in controversial questions and disputes about words, out of which arise envy, strife, abusive language, evil suspicions,
5and constant friction between men of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain.
6But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment.
7For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either.
8If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content.
9But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction.
10For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
11But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness.
12Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
13I charge you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who testified the good confession before Pontius Pilate,
14that you keep the commandment without stain or reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15which He will bring about at the proper time--He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords,
16who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.

i'm here to share something which i find that it strucks me for quite long already, and it has since then became a constant reminder to me, to remind me about the world i am living in, and to remind me what i am supposedly to do as the son of God in this world.
if you guys read verse 3-4, it says about those people who teaches different things from the bible, these are the people who are living in their own world. as you read, you may think that these people are the "fools", and know what? these "fools" are those who spout abusive words from their mouth, those who are involved in small talks,those who create strife, jealousy, envy to others.
as i continued to read, verse 6 strucks me the most.
"but godliness actually is a means of great gain". here it says, when you have contentment with godliness, you have a GREAT gain! so , be contented with what you have!
(paraphrase)verse 14-15 says that we shall continue to present ourselves as living and holy sacrifice, till the proper time when God will reward us, greatly, giving us what we deserve.
yeah. i therefore wants to encourage my fellow cell members, to MEDIDATE on God's words, it's really good for you!
just imagine sacrificing 15mins to medidate on God's words, in exchange for a new day(24hours) where you try to improve, to be better, and eventually become better, more godly than ever, that's something so precious, and cannot be bought.
so start now! we shall meet again coming sat!!
